Turquoise Lagoon — Sweet Pea Plant Starts (4-Pack, Pre-Order)
A head start on a truly unusual sweet pea.
This listing is for a pre-order of four strong young sweet pea plants of Turquoise Lagoon, grown in deep Rootrainers, just as we use here on the farm. These cells encourage exceptional root development, resulting in plants that transplant cleanly and establish quickly in cool spring soil.
Each start is carefully grown and selected for vigor and early growth, then shipped at the ideal stage for planting into beds, borders, or containers as soon as the ground can be worked. With proper support and cool-season conditions, you can expect a beautiful display of blooms by late spring.

About Turquoise Lagoon
Turquoise Lagoon is a truly breathtaking sweet pea and one that’s hard to forget once you’ve seen it in bloom. The flowers begin as a soft mauve shade, then gradually transform into a remarkable turquoise as the petals age — a color shift that feels almost magical on the vine.
The blooms are more petite than many traditional sweet peas, and the vines themselves are more restrained, reaching about 4–6 feet tall, making this variety especially well-suited to smaller trellises or containers. Though more compact, it is no less lovely. Turquoise Lagoon was bred by Dr. Keith Hammett, whose work is known for pushing the boundaries of sweet pea color.
Why Choose Plant Starts?
Skip the most time-sensitive stage of growing sweet peas. Whether you’re new to sweet peas or simply want guaranteed success with a special variety, these ready-to-grow starts make it easy to enjoy a strong, healthy planting without the uncertainty of seed starting.
